  • Bottom. The spacing/size of the stairs is the biggest clue. If we were at the bottom, it would indicate that the stairs are very tall and not very wide. As others have said, the worn carpet is also an indicator, as the carpet on the side of the stairs would not be worn. It would also likely have something sticking out like most stairs, not just flat.

TRUE noatime "Do not update access times (speeds up reads)" \
TRUE ssd "Enable SSD optimizations" \
TRUE space_cache=v2 "Improved space cache" \
      TRUE discard=async "Asynchronous TRIM" \
FALSE compress=zstd:1 "Zstandard compression (space-saving, may slow access)"

  • The US is generally the same where some local elections allow non-citizen residents to vote for local issues.

The issue with this is was not created publicly. We don't know what kind of data is being uses to determine someone's status. If someone is private enough to not have any data collected by its source, then they could be denied voting rights despite being legally able to vote.

It also could end up bring used as the sole source for verifying someone's status, despite having documents to prove otherwise.
