  • You mean VP Potato! Will always remember that before Quayle.

I recall Carter's veep because I have family who are distantly related to Mondale via marriage. They were all upset when he lost again in the 80s, like, they were gonna get VIP passes to the white house via some elaborate scheme for 4th cousins. lol

  • Politics is full of awful people. JFC look at Trump, look at the entire GOP - it's chuds like Jordan all the way down.

Comparing Harris to Hillary Clinton honestly only elevates her in the eyes of prog libs and true believer dems. but cute whiney pout you got going there. She had an excellent track record in California, let's talk about Trump's track record lol. Or GWB's service record.

JFC just say you don't like the lady because she's a woman and she's black, if you were honest with yourself instead of fabricating things to whine about I'd give you a modicum of respect. Your post reads like a best-of chuds post from the 2020 election.

  • It's the perpetual double standard. Qualifications are important. So let's talk about Trump and George W Bush. How were they in any way shape or form qualified? Bush didn't even finish his national guard service. Trump doesn't understand why soldiers die for their country. Both of those twats shouldn't 'qualify' for president.

  • yeah the reason you're getting these downvotes:

water is made of hydrogen and oxygen. it can be split through electrolysis into it's components through the addition of electricity.

if baseband solar had the capacity you could power electrolysis production of hydrogen and it's been proposed in a few places where solar is cheap and land is available.

  • In no way am I suggesting Israeli crimes be forgotten, or that they're let off the hook. But in this instance Hamas attacked civilians and that's not going to go away, even if you can spin Hamas's actions as retribution.

The thing that sickens me the most was Hamas murdered multiple people who were vociferous and lifelong advocates for a two state solution and wanted compromise. And Hamas has never shown leadership; the people of Palestine deserve better from both directions.

  • Hey finally someone who wants to talk actual actions! And I agree with most of your points!

stop blocking people from Gaza from leaving to Egypt,

uhhh is this the case? My understanding was the passage from Gaza to Egypt was blocked by Gaza. Hard to find details though, I could be mistaken.

I'm all for Israel being held to the rule of law. I'm also all for Hamas being held to the same structures.

  • You’re not going to get any magical solution

and yet they all believe in their invisible friends and holy books so much.... ironic that.

Israel is a country founded on stolen land by entitled religious extremists. People always leave that part out when they talk about this situation.

funny how you're leaving out the near extermination of their people and world recognition of their state, kinda glossing over most of history even. guess you decided to leave those parts out too. It's almost as if both sides are completely full of shit.

    Huh.

  • so make Israel an easier target for the many countries that agree with Hamas and think it should be destroyed?

pfft. did you even read the question? How the fuck does that stop Hamas, if anything it would embolden them. How does that help Palestinians wanting a future without a genocidal fuckwit club running their country?

  • I love, just absolutely LOVE the strategy they've crafted: WHY DIDN'T 200 DEMS VOTE FOR OUR SPEAKER?

rofls... and every vote just goes further away from the GOP getting their shit together in any way shape or form. So glad the party of insanity is getting bitten in the ass by their own crazies for once, they completely made this bed for themselves, shit in it, and now can't figure out why it's so gross.

  • what can third parties do to reduce or eliminate Hamas's hold on Palestine?

I'm all for Palestinian rights, and the constant encroachment of fundamentalist settlements is a war crime that went unpunished for Israel - but Hamas's charter is explicit, there's no middle ground or two state solution, just the destruction of Israel.

So how can third parties help the Palestinians in the one way that would make a significant difference in their QOL and interactions with Israel?

    Honest question.
