  • I got solar panels with battery backup to help with preventing climate change, but now that I think about it, it could help with preparing as well. I also got a drainage system with sump pump in the foundation of my house to prepare for climate change, it had already come in handy due to heavier rain. I started supporting local farmers through our Community Supported Agriculture program.

  • You should check out Meetup.com. I started a meetup group for people in their 20's and 30's in my area who are looking to meet people and do fun things. We go hiking, do trivia, wine festivals, dinner&movie, board games, bowling, etc. It's how I have met many friends, some of whom I would consider best friends.

  • I get the joke. However, I just want to point out that in the later series, red signified command and someone important. When I wear my Commandar Riker costume, I don't appreciate the comments about the red shirt and being expendable.

  • When I was 10, we got the Nintendo 64 for Christmas, it came with Super Mario World and my mom also got Goldeneye 64. Fun times were had for many years on that console. I still miss the single joystick.
