  • I held off on getting a Switch because I thought, “Surely they’ll release an updated version with a better SoC soon.” It’s been 7 years…

Maybe it was my mistake viewing this thing as a mobile device more than a game console.

  • Nah, I’ve seen far dumber. Real talk, though: What value does conservatism have to offer? I’ve yet to see any actual principles behind this supposed political ideology beyond “fuck you, got mine.”

  • I was pretty excited for a Servo when it was first announced. Then Mozilla shifted priorities and development slowed down to a crawl. Glad to see some more activity on it now.

I presume the tentative future goal would be to rebase Firefox on top of this. Hopefully Servo does eventually reach that level of maturity.

  • Aaaah, Fern and Stark are so cute! And Stark got some nice bonding time with his mom, lol. I don't think he and Frieren spent a significant amount of time alone together up until this episode.

Sein leaving so soon kind of caught me by surprise. I read the manga, so I knew it was coming, but the timescale seems so much shorter with weekly episodes. I love how memorable characters like Sein and Kraft are despite their limited screentime.

Safe travels, Sein. I hope you find the MILF of your dreams.

  • My first thought as well. There’s a lot of anime that uses Christian imagery and symbolism, but I wouldn’t call Bible Black a “Christian” show.

Actually, the show I’ve seen that had the most Christ-like themes was the first season of Vinland Saga. I haven’t gotten around to watching the second season yet.

  • This was the first comment on this post that made me feel like I wasn’t taking crazy pills. I agree completely. I still don’t see how Threads joining ActivityPub is a bad thing for us, unless it convinces a large number of people to migrate to Threads from their current instance.
