The search giant doesn’t just face new competition from ChatGPT and other upstarts. It also has to keep AI-powered SEO from damaging its results.
More or less the same phenomenon of signal pollution:

Quora and Reddit use community moderators to manually remove link spam. But with Reddit’s traffic growing exponentially, is a human line of defense sustainable against a generative AI bot army?
We'll end up using year 2022 as a threshold for reference criteria. Maybe not entirely blocked, but like a ratio... you must have 90% pre-2022 and 10% post-2022.
Perhaps this will spur some culture shift to publish all the data, all the notes, everything - which will be great to train more AI on. Or we'll get to some type of anti-AI or anti-crawler medium.
Several times I've lost large chunks of work because I usually copy files from the main folder to backup folders, but occasionally I copy files from a folder that was an old backup, reverting all files everywhere by mistake.
I mean integrated directly into the interface of the apps. Example: they have an "Editor" tab for Word that can analyze and get into the document directly. I expect that this will be where the ChatGPT tools will be implemented. Or is there some professional version of ChatGPT that does that already? I have only tested the free one.
Wait, copilot and ChatGPT use are skills? Isn’t that a bit like how using a phone is a skill?
It's about at the same level as "Microsoft Office" as a skill. They're probably working on embedding ChatGPT and DALL-E in that suite. I've actually asked ChatGPT for some tips on using advanced features that I didn't know about and it worked nicely.
