  • You do realize that tallow is often considered a waste product right? Frankly speaking there are worse things to do with it, though making firebombs is a damned fun thing to do. Correction it's tedious as fuck but the end result is fun.

  • Or so propagandized that they are effectively brain damaged, my grandmother was raised by folks who were progressive Republicans and first voted in the 1800s for Theodore Roosevelt. She is still under the propagandized delusions that the modern Republican party is the same one her grand parents and great grandparents voted for.

  • Yeah usually I would disagree but having no state level divisions would be decent, it also would make things easier if we need to unite with WA, OR, NV, or AZ. Since then we could just reactivate the state level shit again.

  • The foundation of action is started with but a single brick. The National Guard weren't rolled out till later on into the BLM protests after they had in many ways started to wind down and stabilize. The current Guardsmen are being deployed at the start, after already being fucked over by Trump via VA cuts and other more general bullshit.

Call me general wait and see but it's too early to make any calls with too many factors, this could turn into a massacre, a revolution, or the Guardsmen could get pissed off and butcher ICE. It's still too early and chaotic to make calls. Not like I'm any help beyond trying to cool nerves, too volatile to protest and I am reliant on my MAGA grandmother. Pisses me the fuck off that I have to live through this bullshit.

  • I'd say that it's a matter of timescale, very little if anything of the initial version of the USS Constitution is part of the current version of the ship but id consider it the same ship just version whatever because it was slowly replaced over a couple hundred years. It's the side effect of "living" objects, though if there is one old ass ship that is 100% immune to the Ship of Theseus it's the Vasa.

  • Given the fact that the US was the first modern democracy, was born from a revolution, and was hobbled by the fucking South from day one is say it did pretty damned good. Seriously it could've failed as early as the whiskey rebellion but it didn't.

  • As an autist with probably PTSD I can't reinforce your point enough, between the call of the void and my borderline sociopathic tendencies I'd be killed five times over if folks judged me for my thoughts. If you look at my comments history you will see my sanitized thoughts, my unfiltered ones admittedly aren't that much worse on a cause and effect level just more impulsive and descriptive.

  • NES actually, a good number of PC games got made because folks didn't want to deal with Nintendo and Sega arguably got into the market cause Nintendo was too strict in their publishing policy. That last bit is ironic given the AI slop and hentai on their online store, nothing against the hentai I just think it's funny.

  • And there's another factor, out of any militarized element in the US the national guard have the potential to be the least threatening. They were affected by the post Vietnam reforms just like the rest of the branches, especially after Kent state. Fact of the matter is the guardsmen are far more likely to take issue with ICE and the police in general, reminder that quite a few came forward after the BLM protests saying they wanted to defend the protestors from the police.

Mind you that doesn't eliminate risks involved but it does mean that there is far far more potential for this to utterly backfire in Trump's face.

  • This is basically my take as well, Californian cities are fucking massive and 2,000 people in LA especially is barely a drop in the bucket. Also these are National guardsmen who may very well be pissed they are being sent to stand around outside in LA during the summer, the concrete and blacktop does not let go of heat easily.

Edit: Bucket not bugget, my auto correct is on bath salts.

  • It'd be acceptable if they also invited him on stage and shot him dead. Take advantage of his comfort towards what he assumes is moral duplicity and stroke his ego a bit, then well kill him.

  • I like how you have to specify that it's a natal cult because he broke his dick and is effectively infertile through natural means. Also a natal cult is much more pathetic than a sex cult, at least someone is having fun in the sex cult.

  • So what you're saying is that he needs to be well acquainted with the business end of a bayonet and the bang of what said bayonet is attached to?

  • Sadly we are missing the bread, luckily we are missing the bread.

  • The bar can currently be surrounded by magma, the fact that the police have it above ground at all is impressive.

  • Sure but the police are generally expected to know how to read and write.

  • The funny thing is that money can definitely buy respect, Carnegie and Rockefeller still have their names scattered about from their so called philanthropy and earned a grudging respect from it. With a fraction of his wealth Musk could've done a small but notable infrastructure and building deal in a small town or two and utterly revived them. Viola grudging respect.

  • He looks like he just let a far rip and is now watching someone gag at the smell

  • And that's just factoring in the ketemine and obesity, now what happens when you include the rest of his drug cocktail? At least Hitler had the excuse of getting gassed on the trenches, Musk is just a druggie.

Not shaming folks who like drugs but let's be honest here Musk is filling his weak little ego with narcotics.
