  • Super cool. I didn't know this existed.

  • I sympathize with the dissatisfaction with container and service naming schemes - it does get annoying when you take an overall look at all the containers and services running and things get muddy. In Immich, I renamed my services and containers for overall clarity. But why mess with ports?

  • I'm curious about this one. I'm running a Radxa Rock 5B with an android TV ROM, but it is a janky experience at best. That has been the main difficult with Radxa's line of rockchip based SBCs - the software support is lacking. How is the software support for the N2+, and when did it release?

  • How does this work for you when using an app (E.g. Nextcloud, home assistant, etc) where log in isn't handled by a browser that can redirect, but instead expects username and password credentials entered in-app?

  • Do tell. Stoneware as a brand name, or material?

  • Thanks! Genuinely had no idea. Thought it was being described as a really fuckin' cheap DHCP server.

  • RFC = Really Fuckin' Cheap?

  • Put your phone in airplane mode and test the voice input again. The experience should be the same.

  • In Gboard settings, under voice typing, it is the faster voice typing toggle. That brings the voice recognition library onto your device rather than using data. The only thing that does not work in Gboard after disabling network access is the gif search.

I extensively use glide typing when not using voice, and as you'll see from other comments on this post the glide typing is not so great on Helioboard.

And... I do kind of prefer Gboard's style of voice to text where I voice all of the punctuation. Pausing and thinking about what you are going to say using FUTO means it tends to end a sentence.

  • I've turned off network access for Gboard and have the offline speech recognition installed. This is why I have Helioboard + FUTO installed but don't use them, as they don't yet exceed an offline Gboard in function.

  • This is a hot tip!

  • I'm glad they're looking. I quite like Quillpad, it works nicely with my simple set up.

  • Love me some XNView / XNConvert for batch image conversion.

  • Does Seafile store data in a flat file, or as files/folder hierarchy on disk?

  • Square Launcher on Android. Tried a whole bunch of other launchers but keep coming back to the windows tile interface. Scrollable vertically and horizontally puts so much within reach so quickly.

  • I saw this OS mentioned earlier and gave their website a gander. It was immediately apparent how important crypto was to their marketing, and that saved me a lot of time looking any further.

  • Sounds like you should be contacting support for a repair.

  • The joke was that your name is actually Bigdick Daddy.
