  • In my experience Android battery stats are largely worthless. I know for a fact that it produces complete nonsense quite often and shows high values for apps that are configured to force stop on exit and have no background permission.

I assume you have ublock running? Otherwise disabling background activity for it might help.

  • Well then the title is just misleading i guess. If you need an app for extra features, they will harvest your data anyways even without an account. Unless the app was working without internet access before. The mistake is buying a camera that requires an app that isnt using an open protocol and expecting Canon not to make use of their software lock in thumb screws. In a year they will want a monhtly subscription fee for you to use the app.

  • This really doesnt hold up for very long if you think about it. You cant just let countries keep doing shit like this. "Should germans have been killed for their countries military actions" No, technically not, but they had to die anyways in order to stop the war machine. Russia can only continue fighting because it has the support of the population.

  • Renationalaizing and extending rail would solve so much in basically every country in Europe. There is soo much demand for it and rail companies everywhere are just cranking up prices without expanding at all.

  • Pretty far. The vast majority of Israelis doesnt give a shit about palestinians or arabs in general. The only reason you see any resistance to the war within Israel, is because Israelis are dying and they very much care about the life of those.

  • This is not entirely bad imo. There are other things they should have sacrificed first, but in the end they will have to kill off a lot of projects anyway. They need to downsize and focus on the important things again.

  • The easiest is uninstall and then install the version you want from the list at the bottom. If the version you want is so old that it doesnt show up in the list anymore, then you have to go to the git repository to get it.

Not all apps support downgrading btw, so if you just try to install the old version over the new one without removing that first, the app might not function properly.
