A: The transistor I made using your blueprint doesn't switch properly at 12V.
Maker of Blueprint: The one I made, works at 12V.
    B: I'mma make standard transistors.

  • You can get your ass beat in school the other guy gets detention.

The other guy goes home happy.
If you fight back, you get beaten by teachers, then your parents get called and harassed and then you are made to understand that you need to shut up and get beaten whenever someone feels like it.

  • kramdown and discount are 2 fun little tools.

    • kramdown is more fully featured and is a Ruby Gem.
    • discount is made in C and is more suitable if you are using it in an on-the-fly render process (∵ lesser CPU cycles), but it has lesser functionality features.
  • Interesting, but not appealing to me.
I have already been enchanted by discount and mesmerised by kramdown.

  • I was on Word, then LibreOffice Writer.
Now thinking of making it a markdown source, with CSS styling to get an HTML based PDF. This way, the same source can be used on a webpage with different generation code.

This seems to me, to be simpler than LATEX, but still good enough for a resume.

  • A lot of Linux Distros seem to have Firefox telemetry disabled by default (even the minimal, one-time ping, telling Mozilla to know there is another user), so that might be skewing some of the stats.

  • Who says Mocoroni?

    You apparently ?

  • Interesting, but, giving it a quick scan, some of them look like based on personal trust and others feel kinda chicken/egg-ish.
And I may need to read it properly first, but "holdings" feels like you probably need to buy some of it first, presumably using some other currency.

  • Oh there's other's? Guess I haven't read enough.

But how to they manage to be decentralised?

  • most governments would not be happy about it

    How come?
Energy production companies would be happy no?
Shouldn't that make at least some govt. happy?

  • Silicates are everywhere! It’s hard to throw a rock without throwing one!

If that's all that's needed to consider yourself having a basic understanding, then I already had it by the time I passed HS.

Unfortunately, the Alt text doesn't tell us the bar, so we can't know how round we are.

  • I actually considered a non-governmental, community regulated currency as a pretty good idea.

Problem is, crypto is too ecologically expensive and wasteful to fit the bill.

While there were some interesting ones, that actually used the processing power for something useful, most are not. So for now, I'll just go with governmental currencies.

  • If yours got converted, then the server you're using, doesn't support drag and drop gifs.
Instead of drag and drop, upload the gif to some other server, that allows such stuff and use that link in the ![alt_text_here](image-url) format as given by @Riccosuave@lemmy.world.

For instance, the above comment has its GIF stored on tenor.com, which is less probably the default provider (for when you drag and drop) given by lemmy.world

  • Are you rustling a single leaf, for it to be less than a library?
Or does the library have a windy exterior full of trees with rustling leaves, for it to be at 40?

  • Did you wash one ear and not the other?
Or did you sleep on one side on a sweaty night?

  • Maybe it depends upon the person.
I have difficulty programming properly while listening to music so maybe I'd find it hard to do so with alcohol too.

In my case, it's probably because I tend to keep as much of the context as possible into my current memory, which gets reduced if I'm distracted by sounds (whether music or noise). The ADHD Relief music tracks tend to work well though, since they aren't very distracting and help get rid of other peoples' noise.

  • I don't see an ad in my graphics driver. Even update notifications are optional.
When I open steam, it is because I'm thinking of gaming and most often, I'm hoping for a game deal popup.

Though, I'd love to not require opening Steam when I just want to play a game.
And that's why I'm willing to forego regional pricing and pay almost 4x for GoG games, at least for games I feel like I will be playing for a long time.

  • I even does prime factorization of integers longer than 64bit

  • Arch is the easy way, when you compare it to Debian Sid.
