Gos doesnt use MicroG. MicroG is a foss implementation of googles APIs, with very ways to be tracked, and the ability to turn those components off. Graphene says "you get nothing or you get these closed source black boxes we sandboxed".

not a landlord, I hate landlords, but I do have room mates and this shit sucks. none of them seem to have any understanding that if food.is kept in the fridge too long it will mold, or that putting a bowl in the dishwasher facing the door won't clean it. its like living with a bunch of 10 year olds figuring out how to do chores for the first time

The whole point of my comment is not that we shouldnt be informed, but that the websites that are "informing" giving you all this bullshit before the information are wildly annoying. Would you like it if you had to give out your phone number before I told you where the bathroom was? Get a grip.

Can we normalize summaries on articles from websites that have 2+ full screen pop-ups asking you to subscribe to their paper, newsletter, or accept their privacy invasive cookies or whatever stupid shit I just had to navigate through to read that

The article is basically saying "trump lied about not knowing about project 2025, Here's a few things that line up with it." and it points out shit we already knew like immigration and "dei".
