Adventure Time for me. The first two, IIRC, seasons are explicitly "anti canon" per the creator and drove me away as a result. At a friend's insistence, I persisted until season three and it ended up being among my favorite shows, it just kept getting better and better.
My wife has recently been watching a YouTube channel called "Adventures with Purpose" which features, among other things, scuba divers investigating missing persons who are likely to be found underwater. Perhaps seeing some of those cases resolved might help alleviate any fears?
When I got my first phone with GPS and I think I just discovered IFTTT, I wanted to write a script that would detect via location when you walked through certain doors and do something like play the Imperial Death March. Never got around to doing it though since I keep location off.
I also like to maintain balance in containers as well for just these reasons, but after years of living with people who didn't share that preference, I learned to lift a container in place, then pull it out. That way I am cognizant of its balance before taking significant risk.
Still, I think the only thing I would be thinking there would be some variation of "why the hell did I come up here and how soon can I be safely back aground!"
I tore mine around age fifteen. I was kneeling in a garden helping a senior lady garden. Felt a weird pop when standing up. Didn't even realize anything was particularly wrong until my knee stopped supporting me later in the day.
