That's usually about health insurance. Keeps their premiums down if they offer health as a benefit. Doesn't make it right, but it is not a morality thing on the firm's part.

WTF is life coaching? Have a facebook acquaintance who did some class and calls herself one, after being a yoga instructor. Like--why would you take advice from a person of middling success? I thought he did have to take the stand, but didn't have to be there for the rest of the trial. AFAIK he's compelled to testify (or take the fifth, but he and the kids have to do one or the other).
