He taught me that relationships only work when everyone is getting out of the relationship what they need. Not just romantic, either. It's been an important lesson that's stuck with me my whole life, it still reminds me to be attentive to other people's needs and not just hide in my own head.

I just put on both albums and listened to them through. I really enjoyed When It Comes and Clean off Make Yourself. I totally forgot I know Pardon Me too lol. S.C.I.E.N.C.E. was interesting as hell, I'm not entirely sure how much I liked it. A few songs kinda reminded me of RHCP, but most were just totally their own thing. Some awesome drums in this album, which I really appreciate. New Skin and Nebula were probably my favorites off that one, Glass was fun too. I'm not sure which album was better, I guess I'll need to check out the rest later!
