  • I have to do some cleaning of like dishes and things daily or it gets out of hand. Most cleaning I do weekly though, so it's not great but I never let it get too bad

  • Cake is delicious

  • Just be glad it's not jeans again

  • He always does, what a great showdy

  • All I can say with certainty is it's not me

  • Oh wonderful, I'm glad to hear it. Don't suppose you have any tips for navigating her incessant quilting talk while you're here?

  • That's freaking awesome! Trumpet is so cool, I have one that I wanna learn to play someday.

  • I just bought my first manual transmission car! I'm loving it so far, definitely hold out as long as you can.

  • For me it's definitely a game! I'll still boot up an emulator to play super metroid on SNES, and that game is 31 years old. I can't think of anything else I regularly do or enjoy that's quite that old, but I could definitely be forgetting something.

Edit: upon more thought chess is way older and I at least do a puzzle daily so maybe that counts. I don't play actual games that often though.

  • I hope that fish got put back in water right quick :(

  • Honestly a lot of stuff I like to get the nice version. Most packaged products you can get away with cheaper, but paper products you wanna splurge on, and produce you wanna get from a local store with good stuff rather than your local megamart when possible. A farmer's market or even just a neighborhood grocery store is usually gonna have fresher, tastier veggies in my experience. A little more expensive, but worth it.

  • Toilet paper too! As someone who needs to use it for peeing, it likes to stick if you get the cheap stuff. Not fun!

  • I can say from personal experience this applies to vegan butter too. Get Miyoko's, or Violife if you absolutely have to, but for all that's good don't get shitty butter.

  • Well, I hope someday you get funding for your passion project.

  • I don't think doubting the benefits of a currently fictional alternative medicine is an unreasonable position to take.

  • I just find it strange you'd rather fix it by changing who we are then just letting us fix our bodies. Much of the concern with passing is fear from living in a transphobic society. It's a safety issue, not an issue with incongruence. Wouldn't better access to care solve the issue more readily than diverting resources to a supposed cure?

  • Why do you feel like permanently altering the brain to make it tolerate the body would be a preferable alternative to permanently altering the body to make the brain happier?

  • I was just asking for general tips tbh, I have experience driving and rode a motorcycle for several years, I just never had a manual car before. If that makes more sense?

  • Oh look, another identity politicing Republican mouthpiece exhibiting massive hypocricy and capricious understanding of law, eager to jerk her hatecock all over the American people. I hope all the fucking maga idiots are enjoying getting covered in Republican spunk. They sure smell like they are.

  • Because you still have eyesight in the other eye, so in social security's mind there's jobs in the Dictionary of Occupational Titles (the DOT) you could still perform, and if there's three jobs you could perform despite your impairment you aren't disabled. Also, if you're under 50 you almost certainly aren't disabled for some reason. It's maddening.
