That's the one, I personally dislike even the smallest of spoiler so I was being vague haha. I enjoyed it though, I never watched any Trek at all before this and I'm so hooked lol.
There's a Star Trek ds9 episode where a non-human alien gets sent back in time to 1947. They discover on their sensors the radiation from the continual nuclear bomb tests and are horrified that the humans would irradiate their own planet. I just recently became a 'trekkie' and I get it, it really has some of the best themes and plots in sci-fi
The meat industry is organized animal abuse, there is no doubt about it. It doesn't have to be that way but by all accounts it is. If you can eat meat procured separately from these industrialized processes that is great, but that cannot be scaled to meet all current demands for meat.

I only ever see meat eaters argue about what the body needs or how our teeth are meant for meat. There is no way to argue that the modern meat industry isn't horrific, I think some carnists that react strongly to vegans unconsciously know this and react with anger because of guilt and shame.
Yeah idk what this person is on about, the vast majority of vegans are completely regular people that just want to reduce their environmental impact, you wouldn't even know they were vegan unless you asked.
It's weird the parents that are complicit in this, like how do they justify it in their mind? I had a girlfriend in high school whose mom encouraged her to post risque photos online in 8th grade, taking photos of her with her thong out posing seductively etc, she wanted her daughter to be hot. Maybe the parents are trying to relive their youth vicariously.
But you are right, worse than the random parents encouraging this, the platforms knowingly encourage this sexualization of children because they know the ad revenue it can generate.
Israel couldn't function without continued US support, this isn't some abstract, the US political establishment enables Israeli atrocities and turns a blind eye to their seizing of territory, even just last month Israel annexed Palestinian territory illegally with the full support of the West.
What they actually want is to return to where Israel is and for it to stop existing.
Why do you think that is? Because where Israel is was their home that was stolen. They have stolen more and more territory, even just in recent days they have annexed land that is according to all treaties supposed to be Palestinian land.
I guess you haven't been paying attention then. There are too many verified videos to count of people sitting doing nothing being shot by sniper fire, hit with a drone strike, ran over by a tank, bound and executed, etc. There have been numerous cases of children shot by sniper drones while going to and from hospitals.
