It at least could have put SEPTember at month 7, OCTOber at month 8, etc. whilst it was fixing things.

Convenience stores nearly all have trashcans in my experience. I guess maybe not a street vendor? But, in most cases, what you buy is going to come in some bag that you can use or, in the case of certain parks, will actually have trashcans. I do live in Japan, but rural northern Japan as of a few months ago.

I mean, littering is illegal basically everywhere. If there are no trashcans, just hold the thing until you get to one. At least during festivals and such, you will see people piling trash next to full trashcans as neatly as possible, to cover your other case. "Don't litter" doesn't sound like a huge ask. As stated in the article, many of these people aren't even staying in town and I know that station has (or at least had every time I went there) trashcans on the train platform. Convenience stores also have trashcans in front of and/or in the store that customers are welcome to use.

Which all of us who live in Japan have no issue handling, including when we travel. This is a shit excuse.

I never played n64 (except maybe a couple rounds of Mario kart, but that may have been gamecube). I tried to play ZOoT, goldeneye, etc. and found the controls and camera awful. With no nostalgia for it, I was out in about 30 minutes (I think less on goldeneye be cause of that abomination of a controller).

I got not long after they stopped DVDs and the selection plummeted in the areas I was interested (a lot of niche films and foreign films for language practice, so not super common). Have not regretted it.

British English is not some monolith and was less homogeneous than it even is now at the time many were coming to the Americas. If this were true it would only be true for a particular region. English outside of the UK also diverged as it no longer followed trends happening there, and regional variations went in sometimes different directions.

Even within the US, English isn't super homogeneous. Look at Appalachian compared to California or someplace. Parts of Louisiana have unique features from Accadian and influence from Spanish.

Same. Something I can play, save anywhere to deal with life, and pick back up when time allows. I was one of those weirdos who really enjoyed Doom 3 when it came out (with the ducttape mod; that was one mechanic I didn't like) and grew up on old Commodore, Amiga, and PC single-player games and NES/SNES/Genisis RPGs. I want that again.

You didn't include a version in your query. You also could try using quotes, though this specific entry may not be helped by it (e.g. "in operator"). For most things, you can click a link with the older version and somewhere there is typically a dropdown or something to change the version and, if not, you'll at least know which section/etc. it is in in the new documentation.

If you don't include a version, it's probably going to pull up questions/answers that it finds most match in general and maybe people just aren't asking that question for your version.

Depends. Short options are probably safer if the particular version and flavor of tar are unknown.

Wife: cold/snow and to a lesser degree, level of English (she has no French) and requiring a car/license in a lot of places. Me: cold but also housing prices, and watching various Canadian systems trying at various levels to imitate shitty American ones.
