  • Since there are no arrows indicating direction, all paths begin at Arch and end with questioning who you are.

(It took me way too long to understand that "ever used linux before?" didn't have two separate 'no' branches)

  • The A500 had much better sounds and graphics in general and it took PC a while to catch up (though it obliterated Commodore once it did). As PC gained popularity, I had a lot of games on both platforms and still preferred the A500 versions. RIP that poor computer.

  • People have playlists and multiple ones at that 0.o What are the usecases of playlists? I guess maybe I could see working out, but wouldn't the same songs in the same order over and over lose their punch?

Edit: could you please explain instead of just downvoting? I'm genuinely unsure here.

  • That's crazy. I don't raise chickens right now, but I do follow a lot of farm/homestead content with people who do raise poultry for meat. I had considered raising my own egg-layers (just a couple) since I have plenty of space for them to run around and delicious bugs to eat. I have no idea what breeds we have here in Japan, though, for any use case.

  • Are these the same breed of chicken? For example, Cornish Cross or American Breast or something? If not, it does feel kinda weird comparing them. If they are all the same base breed, that's some totally crazy selection going on there.

For clarity/example, comparing a Cornish Cross from 1970 against one from 2000 is different than comparing a Cornish Cross from 1970 against an American Breast in 2000. I just wanted to clarify what was being compared.

  • My problem with gimp is that I've never really used Photoshop (I may have back in it's very early versions, but I don't think so). I mostly just use something like Ms paint to take and crop screenshots or photos. Jumping into gimp (and presumably PS as well) is going to confuse people trying to do that.

I still don't know how to use gimp just because I never need all that functionality and don't have time to learn. Maybe someday.
