  • The point of my post is that some of the loudest proponents of free speech have ulterior motives. No more, but definitely no less.

You've provided no supporting evidence of this. The loudest, or most successful supporters, appear to have been Jewish attorneys that advocated & won cases on free speech allowing even Nazis to gather, march, speak, etc. Are you suggesting these Jews were actually crypto-Nazis in disguise? Your title indicates you're referring to Nazis in particular.

  • What else I find weird is that almost the comments like yours appear to be a script where the first thing you do is mention paradox of tolerance. I really find it statistically baffling how many times that is the first response. I guess wrapping counterarguments up into sophisticated sounding titles works for you until you actually have to explain things.

  • Jewish attorneys actually advocated for Nazis to be able to have marches. The phone you use has technology aided by Nazis... Anyone hear of Operation Paperclip? Wernher von Braun?

People dressed in Swastikas, speaking or marching are not violent acts themselves, those people may never become violent & may have no intention of being violent.

Most of them don't even believe Hitler murdered a bunch of Jews and that history was written by powerful Jews. It doesn't exactly help when Republicans & Democrats are loyal to Israel over America.

All & all, free speech laws in America are not rights to commit crime. Threats & violence are still criminal, and that goes both ways. Don't punch someone just cause they are wearing a Nazi outfit and think it is legal to do so... You may end up paying their medical bills & restitution.

America has litigated this multiple times & you had strong arguments from both sides, but in the end free speech won & I believe it was the right choice. I'd suggest you actually study history & those trials a bit more.

If you don't like it then file a lawsuit to change the law & make your case like normal productive people do instead of whining on the Internet about how you don't like things. If you don't like it then share the docket number of the lawsuit you've already filed to show you've done the work like countless people before you did to get the free speech we have today.

I see posts like this all the time, especially now that Trump & Republicans are trying to claim protesting Israel or their actions is antisemitic & should result in deportation. Nazism has went from being about being against Jews to being a Republican who loves Israel. Weird the people making a big deal about Nazis don't realize the irony.

  • I don't think banning things is the right approach. That is censorship & bolsters fascism, not stop it. Education is the most important. If you're worried about misinformation, then educate people about it.

  • The name Israel was chosen by the Zionist movement for a reason & reflects what they are doing. By keeping the name, you're enabling/supporting them.

  • So what are they going to do? This is what happens when you prop up & support ethno religious states. Don't want it then stop supporting Israel's existence.

  • Would much rather see Sidekick make a return. People that like BlackBerry are the same ones that love paying for Windows. They just like to burn money.

  • He is married? That did not seem like innocent humor at all.

  • Yes, Israel will get together with Palestine & start working together better & cooperating. 🤣 If by working together & cooperating you mean doing whatever the fascist force them to do, since that is how fascism works. Just ask Ukraine:

  • Car dealerships in America are like legalized shell entities to protect manufacturers from liability and add an extra layer of corrupt in the middle. I really think people should spend more time reading their legal contracts, especially when buying a new car. Car salespeople can lie about pretty much anything & as long as you sign the agreement, there isn't much you can do, and it almost certainly has an arbitration clause as well.

  • This headline is sensationalized. I hear things like this but then ask myself what do I see when I go on a drive. I live in a solid blue state, and I see a lot of new Teslas. Tesla is still the only manufacturer that can sell direct to consumer here in Washington State:

Yes, you heard that right. In a solid blue state with Democrats in charge of House & Senate in the state, they still vote in favor of Musk. I honestly think people that believe that car dealerships are the bastion of honest & fair business dealings are braindead though, just NPC zombies or something.

  • Free speech is under attack & unfortunately many people on the left are the ones advocating for it.

  • I hate to admit it but seeing your post about IQ and then say, "I'm not going to sugar code it" had me laughing. People grow & change, and each person has their own talents. I am on the higher end of IQ but at the same time I struggle a lot with friendships. I have a hard time doing tasks that I see as menial like laundry, dishes, etc. I also struggle with a lot of artistic or creative tasks. My kids' mom even though we're not together anymore, she definitely would have been on the lower end. However, in many ways she's managed to do a lot more than me. She's able to make friends easier. She is able to conform to society and just gets things done that I struggle with. She also is very creative when it comes to projects & decorating. IQ is just a number, unless you're under like 55. Often relationships are about finding people that balance you out too. I could never date someone that is a lot like me. I get on my own nerves.

  • There are people that don't care if their lifestyle exploits child labor. As long as they benefit, that is all that matters to them. They are so disconnected and unable to fathom or have empathy for anyone aside from themselves or their small inner circle. It isn't a small minority like this but unfortunately around half of America. About 30% of them are just incredibly spoiled, but as soon as they face hardships then it is all woe me. Now a few of them after may gain empathy, but a larger percentage just want everyone else to suffer and be miserable too. It's fucking despicable what money does to people.

  • When is Trump going to demand Israel mineral rights instead of giving ours away? MAGA claiming to be antiwar is laughable. They are Israeli puppets. America is dead. They should have called themselves MIGA.

  • It absolutely would make a difference. Those terms lay out conditions on what happens if one side breaks the agreement & can include things like freezing assets, escrow accounts, sanctions, etc.

Now in terms of the obligations of NATO to members those still exist. But I'm unaware of any obligation by the US to stay a NATO member.

  • "Ambulance call handler upset people with mental health issues say crazy shit. Hangs up on people experiencing mental health crisis."

  • It sounds like all he wanted was formal written security guarantees in exchange for mineral rights, and it was like $500 billion in mineral rights. All Trump could do though is praise Putin & say trust us bro. Zelensky is smart enough to know the terms of such agreements needs to be in writing & not just "trust us bro."

  • I have a gray cat that looks a lot like him. He's my everything. He is so sweet, wants cuddles & purrs so loud. I'm so sorry for your loss.
