Oooo thanks for the heads up. Did you see the last Australian series of this? It was absolutely fucking horrendous and made the second season here look amazing in comparison.

The last MMO I properly played was Black Desert Online. It is an absolutely amazing game but with disgusting monetisation. It did however also become a dangerous addiction in my life. It is currently free on steam I believe though!

Since that experience I haven't really played any MMOs, I tried out Throne and Liberty a few weeks ago and that was the most boring couple of hours of my life this year.

As a huge Guild Wars 1 fan, GW2 was one of the biggest disappointments ever.

Although I haven't probably made as many as you have in my life I couldn't agree more with a lot of what you are saying particularly the size thing. So many people get these massive bongs that are just unwieldly to smoke and require such a huge amount of lung capacity to try and smoke.

I have found for me personally something around 30cm tall is my perfect size with a reasonable size chamber. I want to be able to comfortably rip the enitre hit without running out of capacity but to be getting close to my limit by the end of the rip so that it is a proper full lung full.

There is definitely a sweet spot for water too as too little makes it disgusting, hot and harsh to smoke too.

Ive never tried making or smoking something wider at the top however so that is good to know xD

The light up ones are fucking pricy although I have one that will display images and patterns etc when moving very quick and that adds a further level of what the fuck for observers which I enjoy.

However I learnt with a cheap one made of wood that cost me about £15. I would definitely start out there, it is not the easiest thing to pick up but with persistence the feeling starts to click and it becomes such a satisfying thing to do. They are called flow toys for a reason and when you are in a zone, feeling thst flow, it is amazing.

I dont really care for short form videos anyway and have never used the likes of Instagram / tik tok etc but now that I'm seeing loops videos pop up on my Lemmy feed I'll occasionally see something I'm interested in. However not being able to mute the video before starting to play it instantly puts me off and as such I ignore anything loops based already....

Go to a decent, respectful school. It really isn't un safe to practice if you are in the right environment with people who respect you and care about the other people they are training with.

When I do spar in classes everyone is using head guards, mouth guards, knee and shin pads as well as 16oz gloves. You are more likely to injure yourself than get I juries by someone else at a decent school.

I personally don't even find it that annoying as it takes around 30 seconds more to log in via a browser for me and I barely ever use it anyway. I'm more annoyed that my bank has the audacity to think they can dictate what I use on my phone citing "login blocked due to custom ROM" or something similar when I last tried to use the app.

Fuck banks.

Ive used it for around a year and a half and never had any issues. My banking app stopped working after about 8 months but I just log in via a browser and it hasn't effected my life at all.

For anyone considering the move here is a list of bank apps and their current working status as I know that is a big consideration people worry over.
