  • The distinction is made to differentiate between two very different and clearly separated categories, one being just inapproriate to show around (a boob on your phone in a public is inappropriate pretty much everywhere, not just in the puritan US) and straight disturbing content that you might never want to see, even in private.

Different customizeable categories would be needlessly complicated to implement in every client

  • It's so interesting that the main point against universal healthcare is that it's cheaper because you don't pay in your taxes. Yet the US have taxes and you still have to pay 200$/month, and your employee is paying even more money that would go in your check.

Also, you lose your job and you are fucked, that seems like a horror story to me, how do you not live in axiety?

  • Spoilers for Discovery Season 1 below

it is probably because of that episode in which he is compared to Zefram Cochrane or the Wright brothers. Must have been good for his ego.

What I found funny is that Lorca come from the mirror universe, it makes sense that Musk would be idolized there.

  • Maybe more than in the UK, but here in a supermarket that would be 0.20€ of ham, 0.10€ of chese and 0.30€ of bread. Considering the volume starbucks has, I don't think it's unreasonable they would pay half of what you pay in a supermarket.

Of course these numbers I'm all taking our of my ass, but I think they are a close estimate. There's a reason if Starbucks is so profitable

  • Technically I have a high IQ, but that is just a number. Besides that I consider myself decently, if not quite, smart. I recognize that I can come up with creative solutions to problems, but most importantly people come to me to ask for help for certain things, which feels great and I think is good a measure of how someone is "smart". I learn less from books and more from association and observation. I also generaly reach high in what I do, but that is more thanks to determination and ambition than pure skills. Of course I also lack in many other things, staying around and understanding people is difficult and making friends is incredibly challenging

  • Tv and movies: streaming services have buggy and badly developed apps, random connection issues and sometimes shitty quality because of browsers DRM madness (looking at you Prime Video). Regular televion has too much ads. If I want to see something comfortably sometimes it's just better to browse your folder of .mp4, in full quality and with no interruptions.

Games: either 2000s era games you literally cannot buy anymore or games that keep releasing broken and unfinished remasters and enhanced versions and that pump up so many DLCs you would end up broke to have a somewhat complete experience. Or games you can buy but with the original price and that are more maintaned by the community than the developers (looking at you 25€+DLC codMW2 full of hackers with iw4x servers working perfctly)

  • I would like to know what made you think that I'm a teenager by my comments lol.

Actually, I don't want to know. Judging by your posta and comments, you seem like a sad little troll account. I won't engage with you
