Wild you don't even suggest the patent to be open, like researchers have to do when they are taxpayer funded.

Alright real question here. I've noticed after I came on reddit and Lemmy, something I believe I've only seen in American media.

Why is it so important to mention people's skin colour all the time? This affects 100.000 Americans, and then they mention most are black?!

Why does that matter? I can't figure out why on earth they want to divide people up in race like that, like they are a different people. A different kind of Americans.

It's not hard to figure out why Americans are so divided, if they get talked about like a different group of people based on skin colour.

Guess we'll have to wait until this is approved in other countries for a real answer.

I work in media so at first I didn't think it could help me much.

But I've used ChatGPT to automise exports of PDFs/image files, used it to rename extreme large number of documents at the same time, used it to pull data from Excel into my Adobe Programs, used it to create customised scripts with use of the Adobe Script to match my work flow.

Adobes own generative AI in Photoshop and Illustrator is also very helpful in specific situations.

And then I use DeepL (free) for every translation.

It has made my work life much easier too, and I have coded stuff that automated my job without knowing anything about code.

It's incredible.

I use IPFilter Updater for Bit Torrent programs.

It updates a block list that blocks out bad actors and trackers, so there's a bigger chance you can sail the seas in peace.

They don't, but other companies like insurance might know. And they are the ones who's buying. They use multiple sources of data. And then they put 2 and 2 together.

Even though it's 25%, they will still calculate it as a risk.

Dude, it's not possible to spend millions on sports deals with FC Barcelona, if you don't cut peoples jobs away. That's obviously more important!

It's a fair point, but I don't believe it has anything to do with c/Technology. It belongs somewhere else.

The requirement for posts are so low, that if something is just POSTED on a social media platform, it somehow has a place in this community.

I'm not sure, but my best guess is that it scrapes top daily posts on r/technology and reposts them here.

It's a good idea for other subreddits actually, but r/technology is a shitshow.

You could be the change you want to see and earning alot of money, to maybe do more change you care about.

It's literally worse for everyone, that you say no to this. Including yourself.

The computer power behind the financial system is literally insane. But if everything changed to Bitcoin, we would use more energy.
