Not most of their money, no. Way more than I spend on goods. Exponentially more. I have no faith that the current admin will pull this off in a way that benefits the 99% but it's not outside the realm of possibility that some form of consumption tax would. It doesn't have to be regressive.

I agree. But wealth taxes aside, assuming the middle and lower classes end up paying about the same as they do now, the wealthy will pay more under a consumption tax (as in, more than the nothing they pay now).

Is it regressive though? Multimillionaires don't pay income taxes at all, they have no income. Elon musk isn't sitting down in April to fill out a 1040 or a 1099. They pay capital gains and other rich people taxes. With a consumption tax like a tarriff they'd at least be paying something even if it's a lower percentage of their wealth than yours or mine.

Replacing spell crafting with blacksmithing makes sense for the setting. It would have been nice to have something a bit deeper to replace it though.

The menu I remember was seeing first person perspective running through a level, while a bunch of menu choices fell from the top of the screen until you chose one.

Idk what game that was but it wasn't doom. Doom had a pretty straightforward menu for the time.

The key to oblivion is to pick tag skills that you won't use. If your build is a stealth archer, pick block blunt and restore. You only level when your tagged skills level, so your archery illusion and sneak will be 100 but your character will be sub level 10 so you'll basically be a god

Yeah that explains it lol. Fwiw, if you ever want to try windows as a hypervisor again, server editions can run for 180 days on a trial license and you can buy legit product keys from dodgy resellers online for like $10. I'd go that route for running any kind of real services.
