  • Yeah their marketing has been kinda insane lately. Saw a box that said I'm empty without you on it. Like YIKES, way to make me not want to use your service

  • Don't you know that corners have demons only cats can perceive?

Or that's what my cat tells me anyway. She's always attacking corners

  • The car just moves around me when I want to go somewhere

  • Growing up my sisters' room was so messy you couldn't see the floor. My(amab) room however was rather spartan

It actually drives me crazy when people don't keep their living space clean. It's way easier to maintain as you go than do those crazy cleanups once every blue moon

  • Comms must be infrequent bc my domain sink doesn't log anything like that from my tv when I've checked

  • I use to feel that way before I moved to the city. Now it's just part of the ambiance

  • inb4 OP is on the marketing team

  • Yikes, that sounds awful. I will say tho if driving is the easier option then your city still isn't setup for proper transit (which sadly makes sense if you live in north America)

  • I'm talking about quantity not the popularity of a given language. There are certainly a number of popular languages that follow that convention

  • oh for sure, but I think that's the rarer case for language implementions. Having a consistent structure with alternative keywords in static positions is just easier to develop an AST for. Personally my favorite language doesn't even allow for const values (except by convention) so it's really just a matter of preference

  • I live in the city. I don't have this weakness you speak of

  • Because sometimes that let can be replaced by other things like const. Which can be managed statically by the machine and not by my (imperfect) ability to know if it's mutated or not

  • The real answer is that no one knows. There's probably no single answer for something so complex and so intricately related to us as a species. It probably has multiple factors ranging from increased survival to just pure curiosity. It's personal, cultural, and yet still somehow universal. It's like any other form of artistic communication. We just do it bc we do

  • Okay glad it wasn't just me. I thought I missed something buired in all the typos somewhere

  • I believe the word we're looking for is scalper

  • Look if Canada wants to save us from ourselves no one will stop them
