I find it similar to Scotland in many ways. It’s bloody cold and windy. Always reminds me of that Fairytale of New York song. The lyrics go “the wind blows right through you, it’s no place for the old”.
Wool layers work best. A long wool coat is perfect, if you have one. Puffer jackets are too bulky and sweaty if you take the train or the bus. You definitely need boots, but make sure they’re warm, waterproof and comfortable. You’ll be walking a lot.
Ads "destroyed" TV. Streaming only became popular because it meant no fucking ads. Now ads are destroying streaming. Circle of capitalist life, I suppose.
Ugh. I’m glad he’s getting some time in a car, but he’s too talented to be wasted at Haas. Hopefully he gets picked up by decent team when the time comes.

Don’t worry! They’ll keep voting against any and all environmental protection measures and against their own interests. And when the leopard eats their faces, they’ll just blame the libs, immigrants, China or whatever the en vogue boogeyman is at the time. And everything will be right as rain.
Not a horrible place to be stuck, though. Pop!_OS is pretty great. I run it on my media server and it’s been rock solid. I definitely wouldn’t mind running it on an old laptop.
accessibility for the disabled (this one is actually pretty fair, but it’s also very hard to fix)
Edit, PS: the lack of public toilets is also a fair complaint. It’s also a pretty common one, even in New York and London. Amsterdam comes to mind as a decent counter-example, at least for men. There are urinals strewn about most everywhere in the city.
