Perhaps you just didn't pick up on the threat, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen. It was obvious enough for me to notice it and remember it 16 years later.

That's how veiled threats work. There was nothing wrong with Colbert's face. Smith brought up someone kicking his ass out of nowhere. Colbert understood and even said something like "I hope nobody kicks my ass this interview". Smith later states how he's handsome and strong. Etc.

A homeless guy slept in public too many times, and the police decided to arrest him.

They handcuffed and chained him then drove fast and slammed the brakes on purpose with him in the back of the van. That broke his neck - paralyzing him from the neck down. Both legs needed to be amputated as well.

I wouldn't. He's always been a cocky prick. You could see it come out in interviews sometimes.

He basically physically threatened Colbert while being interviewed on his show for his role in Ali. Will Smith is charming, so he's gotten away with a lot. The mask is off now though.

I wish there were more people here, but the slower pace of posts has helped me spend less time on my phone. It's not quite as good as reddit was for me when reddit was good. But Lemmy is easily good enough for my needs and is better than any alternative including the what is left of reddit.

Because the judge is frustrated with her. He invited Trump's defense team to request an order to have the prosecution stop speaking publicly about the case. The judge said he nearly disqualified Fani Willis over a speech she gave at a church on MLK Jr day. I'm not some right wing nut either. This is information learned from places like Legal AF, Jack Podcast, etc.

I like my odds against most things the size of a large raccoon or smaller. Most things larger than that would probably smoke me.
