If you also disconnect the power, just remember that this drains the CMOS battery in the motherboard. That's okay, just know that it may help to replace it if your machine has issues booting, time resets, etc.

because those candidates also sell easy answers to their fears. they make it seem like they can fix things, definitely. the fears are specific, simple, and aimed at selling specific solutions. people don't vote to be scared, they're scared into voting for a perceived authoritative saviour.
I think this is an oversimplification, but still makes sense.
I went for opnsense without even trying pfsense - purely because I don't trust the company behind pfsense, and came across some mentions of their dubious behavior. No regrets, opnsense is pretty great.
Playing Left4Dead2 versus with 8 friends, running my own custom 'Random' mod. That game was so great to play matches in with the right people - and very fun to code sourcemod plugins for as well.
My digital tv reciever cannot receive a large range of channels when a mini pc, in off state, is plugged in on the same switch. It works fine when the UTP cable is not connected, it works fine when the mini pc is on, also fine when the pc had no power at all. Distance between pc and receiver does not matter, neither does the configuration of cables in the switch. I've given up on it, but sometimes the issue disappears for months, and then comes back for a while.
