If a site I have to use doesn't work for no apparent reason, I e-mail the company's Support. Let them sort it out, or provide another way I can do what I'm trying to do. Personally, I think a lot of the problems are from more and more websites integrating privacy-invading "features", and FF interfering with their operation.

Considering the expense and the way they enable spying on users, I don't think people should be required to own a cell phone or die. Especially children. Sirens or a weather radio make a lot more sense in some situations.

Based on the description elsewhere in the comments, they don't sound very similar. ProtonPlus is just a download tool that lets you see and download or delete updates for all the various versions of Proton, so you don't have to visit a bunch of different Githubs. It doesn't let you see or change which version each game is using, which it sounds like ProtonUp does.
