  • history displays a list of all commands you have run on the terminal since the history list was last cleared. It is invaluable for referring back to a big complex command or set of commands you ran at some point in the past. The -c flag clears that history.

  • Give some passionate staffers a chance with their unique idea and release smaller games along the way.

Naah, I'd rather see those devs find a way to break away from the major studio and actually get rewarded for their work. I think I would hate to see a single-dev labor of love end up owned by a mega-publisher without having to compensate the dev properly (and I have zero faith in the mega-publishers doing so voluntarily).

  • I feel like World of Goo holds the title for the game I have legally acquired the most times of any game, between purchases, giveaways, and bundles on various gaming platforms and bundle sites. Can't wait for a sequel!

  • What protocol are you using to connect to your mail service and what third-party apps do you need it to be compatible with? POP, IMAP, SMTP, or those protocols with various SSL/TLS implementations? Thunderbird will likely handle anything you throw at it, but I'm at a loss when you start talking about third-party apps without more info.

  • Profitable? I thought it was a loss leader to get people into Amazon's gaming ecosystem.

I'd care if it was profitable when it was on its own, but now that it's part of Amazon, I assumed it was just part of a Prime sub.

  • You're free to pronounce it however you want, but considering it's named after a famous mythological character, you may get funny looks as if you referred to similar mythological characters as "Jod", "Hey-zeus", "Bud-hah", or "Hurk-yoolz".

  • You might give it a try -- it may just work for you. Not everybody has the same issues, and I'm sure I'll be able to figure it out later when I have time to troubleshoot it. This is just a busy time of year for me, so as long as my work stuff works, I'm good, and gaming has to sit on the backburner for a bit.

  • Gave up on gaming in general. Moved to Linux back in October. Had issues getting my games to play because of various issues between Nvidia 535/545 and Wayland, Xorg, or the steam/proton/lutris/aagl/hgl things I tried. Then work got too busy and I've put gaming on the back burner 'til I have more time to troubleshoot it (hopefully with new Nvidia/Wayland packages).

  • You do not have to create a new account and lose subscriptions. When I moved countries for half a year, I had to change my Google Pay address. I seem to r3member needing to cancel every single one of my subscriptions on that service, then re-sign up with them after changing my address. I may have forgot to change my address back, so I am still paying for a Youtube Premium family plan in Filipino pesos.
