Lemmy, what is your "I'm calling it now" prediction for the next 10 years?

  • One or more leading countries in the world to recognize some form of AI as sentient.

    • Would you prefer to stay at a job you hate for a short period of time (2-3 mo) or be unemployed for the same period of time?

  • Going with the word "hate" being a strong one for me... unemployed definitely. If there are not other circumstances and other ways to change station in meantime to put myself in something so negative will be avoided.

  • Would love to live in the Portinscale Keswick area of the UK. I might never settle down in one place though as there is so much to explore.
