  • If anyone cares I eventually got it to work by dropping back to the desktop, starting Steam there and reinstalling. Who knew?

  • I was genuinely shocked at how comfortable the pinetime was from the moment I put it on. Probably just because of the silicon band, but for a very inexpensive watch it felt premium.

  • I tried to install Pop! on a Pinebook Pro and failed miserably, but I'm pretty confident it had nothing to do with the Pop!OS. Just couldn't get the PBP to access the SD card or USB in live mode. All fine in the Bios, really don't know what the issue was. So one day I'll try it on another machine. Probably doesn't help that PBP is ARM.

  • I'd be one of them but damned if I can get it working on the steam deck. There's a process around with over 70 steps to follow, but so far I haven't had the time or inclination to do so. It's the only real failure the deck has had for me.
