They did finally change it. Now they get a canned response about being busy, iirc.

If your cat is supervised and leashed, sure.
If not, it needs to be kept indoors for the sake of local wildlife.

If you can’t provide your cat with proper indoor stimulation, quite honestly, you shouldn’t have one. It’s a part of responsible pet ownership.

Only, cats aren’t natural to many environments. When they’ve gotten introduced to new places, they did a lot of ecological harm, and continue to do so. That’s why cats need to be kept inside.

That’s what I was feeling watching it, too. Maybe it’s because I recently watched that big Hbomberguy video on plagiarism, where he went into detail breaking down another “My Response” video to someone accused, rightly, of wrongdoing, but this whole video had me more distrustful. I really want to be wrong, but something’s not adding up.

I’m glad the money got donated, but this is still so odd. I still don’t understand why he kept saying they were donating the money to all these places during fundraising when they were sitting on the cash.

I feel like everyone complaining about the title didn’t bother to click on the link to see the source - it makes perfect sense to me that a site called “LGBTQ Nation” would point out in the title why it’s relevant to being published there.

Somerton has a bit of a history of weaponizing his fans to attack anyone bringing up issues by painting them as homophobic and attacking a gay man. Hbomberguy made a point of bringing up his own bisexuality in his video before he even brought up Somerton as a way a kneecapping that before it could start.

I highly doubt someone writing for LGBTQ Nation is adding “gay” to the headline to be incendiary.

What he did was beyond quoting.

It’s relevant to why a publication called “LGBTQ Nation” would want to cover this story.

I think the Todd in the Shadows video was the nail in the coffin. He might’ve been able to slither back by saying he didn’t realize he was attributing incorrectly (like Internet Historian fans are screaming), but he can’t come back from outright lying the times he wasn’t plagiarizing.

Nope. He was making six figures a year off other people’s hard work.
