I have a hard time watching the news now too. News outlets only show "good news" which is the administration succeeding, which hurts. I want stories of hope.

I do it because when my house is neat and tidy, I'm motivated to do other things.

having a dirty room is a pile of work that goes on my backlog. if the backlog is too big, I can't get anything done.

making my bed is an easy way to knock things off my list and stay motivated.

Your examples are still the same. Polling places which require you to fill out your ballot by hand verify that you voted for someone because you can be watched or recorded as you were filling it out.

I'm not trying to be antagonistic. I literally just don't see the difference.
