I had a job interview Friday and no one was there to interview me. Apparently HR dropped the ball. It’s 110 outside and I’m homeless and living out of a car atm. We had thunderstorms which meant rolling up the windows. I only have a few bucks left and therefore cannot run the AC because of gas. Once the storms were over it was back to 110 but with nearly 100% humidity and even more sweating. I’m currently stealing WiFi to write this out and I’m hungry AF. So yea, bummer about your 30 minutes.
i love crypto.. I've always asked what the calculations are searching for from the myriad of cpu & gpu's... and no one has really ever given me a straight answer for why it has value. *edit: to the last guy that tried to sell me a photo of a monkey... thanks for the downvote, yet again
I also agree with the space / exploration idea as far as names go. Badger is another word for annoying or ‘to pester’ and I think as a name it would put people off and we’d just end up back here again.
"Twitter doesn’t have an intolerant policy like Meta. Other platforms cannot replace it.” -- if your brain shutdown at this point as well, I'd like to welcome you to... if your brain shutdown at this point as well
Um, probably coincidence or a false posi, but malwarebytes is labeling lemmy.worldtoday as being compromised / malicious when following external links, it's only popped up twice, but here's a slightly redacted log file:
I believe 'em, but I see your blanketed cheesy point. Anyone could flash a quick shot of sausage and, quite frankly, mishandled veg... I mean, even if that was in a pan it's a bit crowded... but I digress. We can only hope that there is a tomato sauce filled with garlic and the hopes and dreams of them veggies nestled under a very tight and restrictive blanket of cheese that may or may not be the symbol of hope you think it is, but ... its cheese. You win; regardless.
Reddit certainly has changed and I don't think it will bounce back so easily. It feels like the Mall you used to love that slowly fell from grace where all of your favorite stores slowly closed up shop and you found yourself going elsewhere instead. One day someone brings up the old mall in passing and someone else chimes in that it's now a flea market. It feels like that's where Reddit is heading... it feels like Reddit is turning into the Dirt-Mall.
