  • Be kind to these people when they come to seek asylum in your state. People can change and learn from their mistakes (in the case that they voted these reps in, they might not even regret it but honey and vinegar right?)

  • I really do understand your concern, cults are obviously horrific. If you really and truly think this is a cult and will/is/has hurt people you need to document document document.

People take evidence and cases more seriously than they do when you’re both just exchanging thoughts back and forth. I’d recommend not using this account if you do plan on doing any sort of recon or investigation and I would educate yourself on what admins of instances can and can’t see. If this is a cult you could be in danger if they’re violent or aggressive.

  • Yeah deffo had nothing to do with acting like an entitled shit stain while getting sexy time in a fucking movie theatre as a fucking government representative.

A move, I will remind you all, somehow sunk peewee Herman’s fucking career and he went to a fucking PORN THEATRE MEANT FOR THE SHIT.

  • I can’t help but feel you’re doing this on purpose…

  • I agree about privacy, don’t get me wrong. But I think the bigger problem isn’t the tech (gun) they’re using it’s the people themselves. If this guy wanted to he could go online and find a billion different types of trackers which would work just the same.

I don’t see a point in chasing down shoplifters when there’s obviously a factory churning out more of them down the street.

  • Don’t forget the military!

  • Can you speak more to what you mean by enabling? And who’s enabling who?

  • Just reading through the comments, OP what part of its already contained don’t you understand?

People are allowed to be fucking weirdos here as long as they aren’t bugging others. End of story.

  • I love that the focus of this article is privacy and not the fact that an individual trusted to be working for the nation at a federal fucking level did some abusive, manipulative shit.

Is it really that hard to filter out scum from the application process or is it just that nobody cares because they follow orders (as long as it serves their interests)

  • Nice! I’ve heard good things about mint as well. Tan it on an old desktop a while back for a bit but just ended up switching to something even more bare bones/less graphically intensive.

It’s a tough balance getting performance and visual usability to play nice without walking over each other

  • I think your troubles might come from the assumptions you’re making of other people based off the assumptions you’ve gleamed from other people in your experience.

My comment, to me, read “that’s your problem right there, hahaha. (Laughing about the commonality of the problem not at anyone) Try out Debian, Ubuntu is bloatware”

  • Came here to say this immediately after reading this.

I get wanting a “homey” os, but you can accomplish this in many ways (plain ol debian is great!)

  • Right so just be greatful the nazis are only going after your neighbors right?

  • We have this crazy thing in democracy we’re supposed to use where we’re allowed to all vote to change stuff about how the government runs to make things run better.

The hard part of government has never been the governing principals, but the politicians themselves. Idc what government system you choose, I will point out to you how it can be exploited and poisoned.

  • How long does that obsidian glass container last?

And would sending additional entropy to the sun really be without consequence?

  • Really? News to me, got anything specifically I can look at or research more?

  • Without a doubt. I think (if high school memory serves me right) geothermal is one of the harder power gens just because of how much can go wrong/brittle the process is, but I’m not sure if that includes nuclear power in the mix.

Arguably nuclear is one of the most powerful although it has plenty of drawbacks like waste disposal (as if we don’t already have an issue with this lmao)

  • GPT to people in 2035

  • Nah, natural disasters are disasters through and through. I’m not aware of any eco friendly power gen that can benefit from extreme or dangerous weather sadly
