  • Okay sly comments, and angry posting aside.

It's obvious this is because infants that would have been declared beyond help and therefore subject to abortion, are now being forced to be born and then die.

But I'm sure the Republicans who caused this will find a way to twist it into having nothing to do with their decisions whatsoever, and that it's actually the fault of the Democrats or Biden specifically.

  • FOSS is the Future. Can't hide back-doors in open source code without someone noticing.

  • because Some words are more, important than Others.

    Honestly, I have no idea.

  • What about snowy-season music that vaguely references christmas music but isn't actually about christmas specifically?

  • If only there was an alternative for travel, other than buying a giant four-wheeled multi-ton money pit death machine, that could also run on electric instead of fossil fuels.

    If only.

  • well, I like my OSSC so...

  • lurking, yeah...

  • ISPs can see your data being transferred, and they can monitor it actively. This can be done to anyone connected to the internet through their network. Trade Secrets, National Security secrets and even your search history can be browsed if you’re encrypting your traffic.

  • Not even the Republic, it would appear.

The Confederacy of Independent Systems has far more BattleDroids than your Republic has Clones.

Defeat of the Republic is inevitable.

  • It's technically not untrue if enough people call it a Pizzussy.

  • If you use windows, this is the way it will be on PC in a few years as well.

  • No as a whole they didn't, but there is NO WAY every single person who upvoted "Boycott Nvidia" posts didn't upvote "I just bought an RTX card" posts.

Sure yeah, some people may not have flipflopped. But given how many upvotes both types of posts got months apart in the same community, the more likely explanation is a community of weak willed people who gave in to FOMO, decided to memory hole their boycott.

  • No it isn't a unified community. But how can the upvote ratio of 5:2 for Nvidia boycott also make sense in the same community a few months later where "I just bought an RTX 4090 TI" is around 7:2.

No, everyone isn't an actual hivemind, but the likelyhood that every single person who updooted "New RTX card :)" posts didn't updoot "Boycott nuhvideo :(" posts is ludicrous.

  • I'm no fool. I know Linux isn't going to hit 100% desktop marketshare the instant windows 10 goes EOL.

But I do know many people who are willing to make the switch rather than to go to Windows 11.

Windows has been bleeding desktop marketshare for years. They are at a far cry from their 80% of the early 2000s.
