The issue I have with flatpaks is the size for most applications. It just doesn't make sense for me. Not that it's not useful and has it's purposes.

I find that I wear out the charging port before the battery. I don't even plug it in that much either.

Yes, perhaps even easier if you use a Chromium based browser with their WebUSB installer.
