  • Content is what drags users, not yet another niche community.

Absolutely not, I had to make a post last week to find something that's niche in reddit and not on lemmy because it had a sub and lemmy didn't have a community on it. I always make posts on any niche community if I have to. I don't mind whether it's dead or not. I am sure many people feel that way too.

  • Actually it's quite the opposite, some of my friends are considering buying YouTube premium and even people on the other social media sites are advocating it as the "only good subscription".

  • sometimes you can't find an application even when you spell it out correctly, hafta go through the apps list to find them.

  • never thought a firefox fork to be faster than chrome in android

  • Better at gaming than now.

  • at some point, you grew up with that lmao. idt i will use my xiaomi for more than a year from now. Have been thinking about switching to something like nothing.

  • Innocents being killed is not justice, it's genocide.

  • Exactly. Amazon alternatives in India aren't great when it comes to returns and refunds.

  • My android phone. I fucking hate redmi's os and my device doesnt have any custom rom. I wish I could change it sooner.

  • Java is being used so much that until legacy softwares are rewritten by rust or a different language it won't be replaced.

  • There are alternatives. Proton mail is a good alternative if you just want an email service provider. As for windows, you might find a right distro for you but I dont want anyone to redpill on that. As for android, there isnt any great alternatives (ios is good only when you use apple ecosystem).

  • Started using mastodon recently, but I still surf twitter to see what my friends are tweeting about.

  • I don't host an instance, so I don't know how hard it is. You can choose any popular instance like kavin.rocks if hosting doesn't seem like a viable option.

  • or you could use a piped instance.
