  • One of my kids is playing Joust on the Atari and the other is on the last dungeon in NES Legend of Zelda. They play Grounded on PC together. My daughter is really into Crusader Kings 3. And my son will never stop playing Minecraft with his buddies.

You could never touch a game from the 2020's ever and still never run out of great games.

  • This is right. A five year old can't wipe their nose correctly. They want simple, cute things happening on screen or they're going to lose interest quick. AC is a great call. My daughter was motivated to learn to read better because she was having trouble understanding what was being said in AC.

Nintendo in general is the way to go here.

  • I've been with Pixel since it started, Nexus before that, and a Palm Pre before that.

There is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS some random hardware bug with Pixels that most people seem to not have but if you have it, it absolutely sucks. The speaker buzz. The display gap. The fingerprint sensor. The camera glass shattering for no reason at all. I've had them all and I finally went to Sammy with an S22, which I hate.

I wish Google had never bought HTC and brought hardware in house. I think they would be much better able to strongarm hardware partners if they weren't competing against them with their own hardware.

  • Hilo is wonderful because it's lived in. It's one of the few spots left that's primarily locals without tons of tourists. It's Hawaii. There's always gonna be tourists, but Hilo still has a little bit of that Puna in it without ending up in Pahoa.
