Yeah, I have to admit, Crosscode probably comes the closest to what I want. I do have, and play the game, but I always end up dropping off due to a bunch of personal pet peeves I have with it, and also feeling like the combat system is just not on point. But I should really probably reconsider dedicating enough attention to beating it.
One of the biggest barriers for me for crosscode is that it has stuttering on the deck, but it looks like there are some work arounds that prevent that, so I will probably dedicate some time this weekend to getting it setup.
This is so silly. There is no technical solution to trust. What if Russia or China want to run a bit farm? Or the US goverbment? Are you not going to trust their signatures, and face legal action i their markets? This stuff is so stupid, just be honest that you want people to watch your ads. Yeah, this is very disingenuous. That was the single concession in an article full of proof that that meet market played an important role in spreading the virus, and that it is probable that is where transmission occurred. Short of detecting and recording the original infection, which is very unlikely to have happened due to the nature of the virus.
And yes, the house oversight committee is controlled by Republicans, because they make committee appointments after they gained control of the house of representatives in the 2022 midterms, and this was a political priority for them. If you read their release, it is clear that the questions were lead by Republicans.

idk, to me it's kind of lazy content. There is no analysis of the Nintendo store or switch refund policy, no discussion about what effect this would have, no context about shovelware on the Wii and gba... it's just let's point and laugh at this game. The only effect is has is giving the game clout. The devs probably appreciate the coverage ultimately.
People are saying that it is a cloud managed reverse proxy, but I would not recommend using it like this. You should be running a reverse proxy on your own hardware, imo.
It is still useful because you can use it as just a proxy. You can point your dns to your cloudflare tunnel endpoint and cloudflare will screen all traffic going to your server. I've actually stopped using it, but it is a decent way to auto feel all the random internet traffic pitfalls like portscanning bonnets. Also putting something between your server IP and your domain is nice.
Pretty excited for this. I am hoping that they do put some design into the combat system, and that it is not just a spectacle that requires no thought. But I am really hoping that they are going to join the more action rpg route that we are seeing along the lines of dragons dogma.
Anyone play the surge? I think I have the surge 2, and have heard good things, but also heard that it is kind of a dark souls knock off.
Why does digital foundry feel the need to dogpile on something like this? Like, they gave no reason for it. Is it just outrage view farming? I don't really buy that they are trying to expose shovelware - everyone knows about it, and ultimately it is up to nintendo. It's also probably good that there is a low barrier of entry to get stuff on the switch, even if it results in stuff like this.
