  • I'm not super familiar with the goals of the mint project. But this is generally a bad approach to take with project development. Even if you plan on offering LTS, it is always preferable to have users on the most up to date version. Going through the pain of supporting multiple versions of commercial software at work has taught me that lesson the (very) hard way.

  • I thought the bash history in tron: legacy was kind of clever. There was stuff like vi last_will_and_testament.txt before the computer ducking command. I remember being surprised some prop designer knew enough about computers to set up that easter egg. Although I think I was reading that they contracted out the design of the OS to some team or something.

  • If your CEO of zoom you have to believe in the product your company makes. Its the basic requirement. When he says this, its a slap in the face to every engineer and worker who has dedicated their life to making zoom a good product.

Its like the time the dunking donuts ceo said he doesn't like donuts on Marketplace.

  • Whatever the reason is, it probably has very little to do with the described use case since RTOS is a very different use case to desktop copmuters. I didn't even know that people were making an RTOS that is based on the linux kernel. You could never bring the device support the linux kernel has to the RTOS world.

  • I think wizards of the coast will demand more products that are part of baldur's gate 3. Tbf, baldur's gate 1 and 2 are known for their expansions. I wouldn't be opposed to an expansion or two.

  • Coming from someone who doesn't really like DOS2 with a controller - they made it work a lot better in Baldur's Gate 3 and it is at the point where I am mostly playing with a controller. Turn based mode goes a long way in this game to not having mouse selectivity.
