This would have been a baby step 10 years ago if we're being generous. California's medical marijuana program has been a legal gray area since 1996. So what we can expect federal legalization in another 20 years at this rate? If biden touts this on the campaign trail as an accomplishment I'm going to lose my god damn mind.

This is so long overdue it doesn't deserve celebration, it deserves a "what took so long, this isnt even controversial". If your partner/roommate has been telling you to do the dishes for 20 years and you finally wash some you don't get to turn around and go "look at me, I did 20% of the dishes! aren't I great!"

I had a travel job broadly under the umbrella of trades, we were pulling like 85k+ between overtime and per diem working 6 days a week. Maybe 2 months into this job we were having some meeting about the upcoming 2 week break for Christmas and one of the younger guys makes some comment about missing out on hours and says 'man we're broke'.

Except the US Airforce uses it as a gender neutral title, which is extremely relevant when the subtext is you're talking about whether you're misgendering an almost certainly closeted trans person by calling them "airman".

I should have said "as a title used by the airforce" but I figured that was implied.

You're not going to shame me into voting for the guy arming a genocide lol. If the centrist dems don't like losing votes from the left they should stop choosing unviable candidates in the primary.

Leftists and progressives have 0 leverage against centrist democrats if our votes are unconditional, if supporting a genocide isn't a line too far then nothing is.

If I vote(solid blue here so not much practical point) I'm doing a write in for president and any pro-israel candidates down ballot. I would not be upset by Biden losing to trump by the margin of votes for "stop the genocide" in swing states. Preferably with a blue congress but whatever it takes to drive the point home for dems that they cannot cross this line and still have electoral viability.

But don't forget to let centrist dems know you'll keep voting for them even if they support a genocide.
