Looks like someone didn't read the article.

Not going well is distinct from not possible. The article suggests we're using the wrong tactics.

The Speaker has procedural power over the House that the Vice President doesn't.

I think that's a bad take. We can't fight MAGA with the truth, but that's not the same as we can't fight them.

In fairness, they don't have to do far to find the bigotry and cruelty they're looking for.

The way I get past it is to disable javascript to a site via uBlock Origin and tell my browser to accept cookies but to always clear them between sessions.

When they're pretending it means they're willing to acknowledge the shame of their immoral stance. It's when they stop pretending that they openly go after these things and dare anyone to try to stop them. Normalizing their hatred and bigotry really isn't preferable, it's a step toward enabling even worse behavior on their part.
