Why are people upset at this? Who is stupid enough to trust fact checkers or community notes on social media? Read a real news site for facts.

That’s what I don’t get about people getting mad at the removal of “fact checkers”. Zuck was right in that they were uneducated and highly biased. Their “context” a lot of time was downright misleading. I never trusted them anyway because I don’t get my news from random people on the internet.

Why does everybody have stomach problems in the US? I have them and thought I was a minority, but seems like everyone is constantly Having diarrhea or constipation.

My (not so) conspiracy theory is Monsanto and micro plastics are inflaming the gut.

I maintain open source software on a much smaller codebase that is less security critical. We have dozens of maintainers on a project with about 3k stars on GitHub. Stuff gets by that are potentially security vulnerabilities and we don’t know until upstream sources tell us there is a vulnerability

Varies state to state and city to city, but my city has the majority of that list… plus the freedom of speech is nice. When I read the news about people in Europe going to prison for comments online but getting slapped on the wrist for violent crimes I’m baffled.

Welcome to every election, not just presidential and not just a Republican or Democrat problem. Trump is disgusting but Seattles former mayor was way worse and didn’t get a peep nationwide.

“Consumers should not be affected by price increases”… Gavin Newsom is delusional or stupid. This would be the first time in human history where regulatory business costs are not passed on to the customer. Want he just saying “businesses will pass on the price increase from tariffs to the customer”? He know this for a fact because everytime he passes regulations that increase prices for a business in California they just pass it on to the consumer.

How delusional and petty are people to want this? Peoples lives that live paycheck to paycheck are at stake because of this and you are getting upvoted because you believe that this would somehow affect trumps ego negatively.

You know what actually happens if it shuts down on Inauguration Day? It even more deeply entrenches people’s vote for trump. They will say “look Biden and the democrats couldn’t even keep the country running, good thing Trump is president now”. And guess what, people would still show up, but this time of no one is working in government they will finish the job they started on J6.

Literally everything Taika watiti touches turns to shit. I don’t understand his appeal. He’s like a 14 year old in the head that can’t take anything seriously. I know if I’m watching one of his shows or movies it’s just going to be lame joke after lame joke and then at some point he will remember he needs to get a story in and rush everything.

Also, I can’t stand anything JJ Abram’s touches. I know a lot of people say that now post StarWars disaster, but I remember being very disappointed when I heard he was directing the first sequel and people were acting like I was crazy. I absolutely hate his “mystery box” story telling because I either never cared about “item A” or I know the payoff for discovering what “item A” actually is I’d going to be lame.

Pointless administrators that physically work at the college. They will have titles like “alumni integration and diversity standards affairs events coordinator” or “student relations and planning manager for community engagement” or some other word salad title that you will receive spammed in your inbox constantly while your professors emails somehow get routed to your junk mail folder.

He still sucks, but his batting average on a lot of medical and food policies would make most MLB stars jealous.
