  • The reason I dislike this comment is it characterizes the work of many different people as "don't care." I would bet money that there are people who work on fediverse projects who care very deeply about UX but have to settle because they have day jobs.

  • I think the fact that any old code is being removed at all is a good thing. The point of the post (at least from my perspective) is that deleting old code is something necessary for prolonged support of a codebase and it's not something Microsoft is or maybe even ever will prioritize.

  • Why would I do that? People might see me!

But joking aside, I admit I haven't done much with the laptop since installing mint (cinnamon for those playing at home). But I did instsll a daw (reaper) and recorded some music ideas using my Focusrite Scarlet 2i2 audio interface

  • I've done two full playthroughs of the game (plus dlc), one on the standard difficulty and one on hard. I can confirm that many of the game's systems are rendered unnecessary by the easier difficulty. I really enjoyed my second playthrough and would definitely recommend.

However, if you don't think you'll enjoy that (having to plan and work for every advantage to be able to succeed) I would wholeheartedly endorse the easier levels. The story and quest design alone are worth the price of admission! Side quests in this game make many other games main story pale in comparison.
