Not to mention large businesses can spend more money on lawyers that are able to drag out court cases through delay tactics and are far more likely to get the government to settle.

This is a great explanation for why business deductions are stupid in the first place. Why does being profitable justify being even more profitable by paying fewer taxes?

Docking tails, snipping ears, and a bunch of stuff we do to dogs is abuse even if they don't have health issues down the road.

One issue with feeding cats a vegan diet is that cats hide their pain, so if the diet is causing pain due to a lack of nutrients that don't have obvious external signs like death, they could be suffering for their entire lives. We don't have long term studies about other health impacts from a lack of meat, and the primary focus has been keeping them from dying. It should be assumed that there are other negstive side effects we cannot see when at least one missing enzyme kills the cat.

Yes, although should be a rule that prohibits promoting antivaxx misinformation. If communities that discuss medical topics don't have rules against promoting disinformation, they are not being moderated very well.

Keep in mind there will need to be an opportunity to explain why something is wrong, and that requires explaining what it is.

I don't think sides is the right word. Starting with an assumption of what the right amount of vacuuming is makes it easier.

I have no idea if it is necessary, if it extends the shelf life, or has no purpose other than making it more likely for people to throw it out if they don't put it in the fridge.

I put it in the fridge if it says to assuming it might keep it fresh longer. But if I leave something pickled out overnight I will just put it back in the fridge.

I was just pointing out that it isn't necessary to jam 100% of GPS to have a massive impact. The odds that Russia could pull anything off is pretty small, and jamming GPS for more than a few hours is evenless likely.

Cut communication trunks to knock out the internet in wide areas should still be an option since storms cause those outages for non-wireless internet now. DDOS and other atracks can still overwhelm wireless communications.

But honestly it is unlikely that being technically possible would be as successful in practice as a widespread attack as most places have a lot of redundancy built in because these kinds of threats have been around for decades.
