Most animals don't have the right bone structure and muscles to throw. A dog for example doesn't have the range of motion to throw a ball with their forelimbs.
Apes, monkeys, and other aboreal creatures can fling or throw things with some level of accuracy, but not nearly as well as humans.

I think the proliferation of tips at almost every register instead of being limited to full service has been bad since the trend started.
In my state restaurants pay the federal tipped minimum of just over 2 dollars an hour. Their entire income is based on tips, and until they are required to be paid a living wage, tips are a necessary evil. I tip them well because I know they are getting screwed on their paychecks more than any other job.
Keep in mind that cash tips tend to not be taxed, which means less going into social security, medicare/medicaid, and other government services. It is still income! But when it was mostly cash it was effectively tax free.
Now that cards are prevalent it is getting taxed, and this 'no tax on tips' bullshit instead of requiring a living wage just benefits business. It is a counterproductive 'fix' and fuck tipping culture altogether.
You know what the worst outcome of non-taxed tips will be? The fucking wealthy tipping each other tax free to move money around. That is what it will end up being in a couple decades because that is consistent with every other similar 'fix' that just avoids requiring a living wage.
This is just saying the primary motivation wasn't economic anxiety, it was and still is racism. It does not say that it is the only reason or that it is universal for all of his followers.
Trump's campaign is relying on the Dems taking the high road and going along with it. Good to see the Harris campaign isn't falling for it, altthough they should have been more clear that they did not agree to the other two.
To get the message across to voters who don't read into everything they should have said:
"We have only agreed to the one debate on ABC on September 10th. We are open to another debate, and we’ll continue those conversations. But to be clear, any additional debates would be subject to Trump actually showing up on September 10."
Yes, people can infer that means the Fox News one is a no go since it is prior to Sept 10th, but a good chunk of the population needs that spelled out.
Too many carbs is bad, but zero carbs is counterproductive too. The goal is to get some protein and some carbs, but fewer carbs when you are losing and not exercising enough for your body to turn them into energy right away.
If you are eating a lot of fruits & vegetables and exercising, then a serving or two of rice and beans eat day will be used as your body needs to and the calorie reduction will take care of the weight loss.

It cracks me up that cars have a phone icon based on a handset style from an old home landline phone. I guess enough businesses still use them?
