I linked a deleted post on the body of this post, try clicking on it. It should bring up a "couldn't find post" screen and reset Jerboa after going back.
I'll say I also use the app URLCheck to open urls, and my phone uses MIUI OS, in case that's relevant.
Edit: okay I think it might not be jerboa's fault, rather a weird interaction with URLcheck when opening links that aren't handled directly by jerboa.
I think it creates a different instance of the jerboa app or something, resetting it. But I have to do more testing.
There's also the fact that they're completely optional and unnecessary. They provide nothing but cosmetics
I hate this argument, because videogames themselves are completely optional and unnecessary. That's the whole point of them, they're just for entertainment, to have fun and enjoy playing them. So I don't see how something being cosmetic makes any difference.
It's more like we didn't like pay2win on online games, so they started making it "just cosmetic" in those, and somehow now people think it's acceptable to have to pay for parts of a game they bought, in every game ever?
Well, people waste their money on useless crap all the time, so I guess I'll just be the cranky old lady and go back to playing my original AoM, where I'm actually playing a game and not an advertisement.
Searxng! You can self-host it, but I just use a public instance, there are tons you can find out there. You can also install a firefox extension1 to be able to use it directly as your default search engine :)
1 you don't need to download an extension, you can just go to a site, right click on the address bar and add it to firefox/librewolf as a custom search engine, as per these instructions.
In Spain, children used to get presents from the "Reyes Magos" (the Three Wise Men) on Jan 6th. Nowadays, they may also (or instead) get presents on Christmas, from Papá Noel (coke Santa Claus).
The problem is that the wealth generated by the robots is going to the owners, not to the workers that lose their jobs, as always. Otherwise it'd be great.
More like using iOS is not cool. At least in the EU they get some more things, but I was trying the other day to show a workmate how to install an ad blocker and it turns out you can't even install firefox extensions on iOS!
I have it happen a lot when I'm doom scrolling, pretty far down, and open a post (but I don't know if opening a post triggers it or I just notice it more).
I then go back, scroll a bit more, and find the same post I just saw and the ones around it too.
I use the all - top 12 hours filter when it happens.
People like some realism in games. Look at how RDR2 was criticized for how tedious some things were. People liked the horse ball-jiggling physics realism, not the skinning or looting realism, because it slows the gameplay too much.
Still, there will be hardcore people that love realism to the point of controlling each individual joint like Toribash, but it becomes a battle of realism vs accessibility.
