  • Pedal Steel. First time I saw one played live was at a Bright Eyes show when I was in high school. I know they’ve been around for a long time and are prominent in country music, but watching and hearing it played in person just blew me away. I feel like the instrument conveys so much emotion in its sound

  • And concerning Spotify: I read they pay an artist at most a third of a cent per streamed song. I think they’re ripping off the artists.

While Spotify doesn’t make artists much money at all, I think the focus should really be on the record labels. Labels are dinosaurs and really have no business being so prolific in today’s music industry. If I had to choose between waging war on Spotify or labels, I’d be coming for the labels first.

  • Developers don’t use early access to get feedback on lore, world-building and visual aesthetic. They get feedback on gameplay balance and bugs. A movie/TV studio doesn’t have gameplay, it’s all visual. Apples to oranges comparison

  • Her manager and one of the other co-workers participating in the group sex act were vomiting, she said in her lawsuit. While one vomited in the trash, the other threw up right in her guacamole bowl, she alleged.

Probably the best paragraph in the whole article.

  • I think this is very likely the reason OP feels the way they do. I just left a job after 2-1/2 years. I knew I didn’t want to stay there from the moment I started. It was an in-beteeen job while I looked for something better. I knew it, my bosses knew it. I was so excited about the prospect of finding a new job and actually doing something better with my life. However, the moment I actually got a job offer, that excitement turned to anxiety and dread. I was venturing into the unknown. My mind instantly shifted to focus on all the negatives of the new job.

Change is terrifying. So much so that sometimes we simply try to do nothing in order to avoid it.

  • I agree with you, but the article states she bought these vapes over the counter. She also had asthma and was regularly using her inhaler after vaping, which can’t be good, and also suffering a cold at the same time. Also, was 12 years old and started vaping at 9, going through a 6000-hitter in 2-3 days. As a current vaper I can’t imagine burning through a vape that big unless I’m doing some serious bing drinking
