The ADHD suspicion and later diagnosis did the same for me, actually! I even have meds which do help me fit into society better. But something always felt off. I am going to learn more about giftedness, but the shift in mindset is already huge, similar to the former shift. Thank you for your kind words, I wish you good luck on your own journey -- and don't be so harsh on yourself ❤️
I just want to bring up the option, because my struggles are similar to yours. Giftedness is something I recently found out I have probably been blessed with either along with, or instead of ADHD (which I have a diagnosis for).
This, but every evening a week straight until the bottle is actually empty and then I walk around with greasy hair until I get weird looks from people at the mall, at which point I remember to buy it.
It's less typing but technically it's one more request to the server which you have to wait for to fail before the correct request can be fucked, so it might be faster to do it the correct way from the get-go. Especially if you've done it before and you can just Ctrl+R and find it in the history, or you have a git alias (e.g. git phead)
Czechia. I get 20 days off mandated from the state, plus some (12-ish?) public holidays, plus every day I donate blood (that's up to 5 days a year).
My job gives me 5 extra vacation days, and when I'm on sick leave, pays me the full 100 % of my salary.
I take vacations for as long as I need :) But mostly I try to chip away at my supply with one- or two-day vacations, usually around weekends and/or combined with public holidays. I am obligated to take vacation at the end of the year, and I always take 3-4 days for a yearly local metal festival.
Why can't it be neither? Being wet or dry is a property of solids, or maybe gasses (where you'd say "humid" rather than "wet"). It doesn't make sense as a qualifier of water itself.
I used to hate the Android vs Apple drama vis à vis romantic partner choice, but then I realized that it's in itself a great filter of people I don't want in my life
In this I wish Firefox was more like Chromium. I use tab search a lot and Ctrl + Shift + A is much more efficient than this 3-step combo
