I picked up an android phone off marketplace then resold it after I created the account. I don't mind if they think I'm someone else, in fact, I'd almost prefer it.

So, I'm self hosting basically this. I have a matrix server that is publicly accessible but I'm the only user on it. I'm also self hosting a handful of bridges, signal being one of them. I've played with the WhatsApp bridge, and I'm using an SMS/MMS bridge.

It's basically a man in the middle for all your chat apps. The Signal bridge software will login to your signal account and have full access to everything. The bridge works by watching all the decrypted messages and posting them to a matrix room. The matrix room may or may not be encrypted. This means you need to put a lot of faith into the bridge code and the people hosting the matrix server. The SMS/MMS bridge I use doesn't even support encrypted matrix rooms.

I personally would never use beeper. Even if I couldn't selfhost, I would not trust one person/company with centralized access to all my messages. I'm sure they have good intentions and would never do anything to abuse their position but I won't put anyone there.

I'm able to use an old android phone, without a sim, to avoid the SMS requirements.

What's your goal? To have a good ratio or to help seed obscure stuff?

Where I have a problem is when someone forces me to do something. You NEED me to watch this show? No. Watch it in your own time.

I'm not sure how to do what you're looking for but you can install rockbox on the iPod and then just copy the music files over normally. That's what I've done and it works fine on Fedora.

Yeah, I have an account on 4 or 5 other servers but I mainly use this one... So there's ~4 more "inactive" users.

That's why I'm here. I have one in the basket, one at my feet, and the other wrapped around my left arm... Its 4am, I can't sleep, as soon as one of them moves I'm going to get up ans watch some TV before work.

We have a two 1 year olds from the same litter, they cuddle as kittens but not so much anymore. The male is a bit of a jerk to the female but he's starting to settle down.

Also, 2 kittens, they were neutered a month or two ago. They're crazy and cuddle with everyone when they're not ripping up our toilet paper all over the house or locking themselves in a room (playing behind the door until it closes)

I've been in a bad place lately and I kind of needed this. Thank you... At first I didn't know how to answer this question.

Going to bed and calling the cats in to sleep with us. Some one always goes in the 'leg basket'. When I wake up I pet anyone around, kiss the S.O. and start my day.

It's not everyday but I leave sticky notes around with sayings or love notes for the S.O. I enjoy everything about this.

I only just bought one because of the sale. No matter which one you get, it's possible to swap out the disk for a larger one.

I'd look at the size of the games you play and see if 64GB (actually less because of the OS) is enough.
